Maria Cormier 1941 - 2006 SAINTE-MARIE DE KENT, NB - Maria Cormier, 65, of route 515, Sainte-Marie de Kent and wife of the late Gerald Cormier (2006), passed away at The Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte Anne de Kent, NB on Friday, June 2, 2006 after a lengthy illness. Born in Minto, NB on January 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Auguste and late Marie-Anne (Bastarache) Belliveau. She was a homemaker and attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB and was a member of the Sainte-Marie de Kent Golden Age Club. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Tracy) of Portland, Me. and Mark (Monique) of Sainte Antoine; two brothers, Ronald of Sainte-Marie de Kent and Leonard (Terry) of Mendon, Mass; four grandchildren Kaitlan, Michelle, Emilie and Alex; several nieces and nephews. Remains are resting at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from 2 to 3:45pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 4:00 pm at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
