Ralph Stewart Pennell 1928 - 2006 MCKEES MILLS, NB - Ralph Stewart Pennell, 78, husband of Catherine (McKinley) Pennell, of McKees Mills, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, June 13, 2006. Born in Kamsac, SK, he was the son of the late Stewart Pennell and Pearl (Helmkay) Pennell. He was a member of Zion United Church, McKees Mills and was a former member of AOTS and Oak Bay United Church. Ralph had been a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Pro Patricia Branch, Victoria, BC, the Gordon Head Lions Club, Victoria and Oak Bay Kiwanis Club. He had served with the Royal Canadian Navy for two years an was a Licensed Practical Nurse and OR Technician. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; Shirley, mother of his eight sons, Les (Lorraine), Doug, Dwight (Wendy), Mattie (Diane), Dale (Sandy), Mark (Judy), Brad, Steve (Wendy); sister-in-law, Mary; niece, Debbie Frieson (Rudy); nephew, Barry Pennell (Kathy); 23 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by brother, Harvey (2005). Resting at Zion United Church, McKees Mills with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Service at Zion United Church on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 4:00pm with Betty Jean Friedman officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Friends of The Moncton Hospital or the Rexton Lions Nursing Home would be appreciated.
