Irene Eleanor Donahue 1922 - 2006 Irene E. Donahue formerly of Hillside View Special Care Home, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Born in Moncton, NB on November 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Cormier) LeBlanc. Irene will be sorely missed by all who knew her, she had a great love for people and animals. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Florence LeBlanc of Montreal; loving nieces, Maureen Gormley (Ben) of Oshawa, ON, Brenda Major (Bert) of Montreal and Dolores LeBlanc of Vancouver; nephew, Ronald LeBlanc (Marilyn) of Montreal; also by many friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James T. Donahue in 1971. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Legion Branch #6 will be holding a Prayer Service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 9:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Cemetery with her husband. In Irene's memory, donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
