Flora M. Sparks Flora M. Sparks, 96, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, June 30, 2006. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late James and Flora (MacDonald) McMurray. A homemaker, Flora attended Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. Flora will be sadly missed by her children, George, St. Lambert, PQ, Mary Louise Thurrott (Calvin), Miramichi, and Daniel, Saint John; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by her husband, George Sparks (March 1997); and daughter, Jean Gourley (2006). No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Falkland Drive, Moncton, on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 10:30 am with Rev. Jeff Doucette officiating. Reception following the mass in the Parish Hall. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
