Murray Watson Steeves 1916 - 2006 Murray W. Steeves, of Royal Court, Riverview, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Born in Moncton, NB on September 27, 1916 he was the son of the late Robert Roy and Maude (Colpitts) Steeves. Murray was a member of The First Moncton United Baptist Church. He was retired from The Canadian National Railway after 31 years service. He was a member of The CNR Pensioneers. Survived by his son, Garnet Steeves (Teresa) of Centerville, NS; daughter, Sharon Jones (Danny) of Moncton; sister, Annie Stronge of Scarborough, ON; grandchildren, Amy Dawn Jonah of Moncton and Martin Clair Steeves (Penny) of Berwick, NS; two great grandchildren, Patrick and Dylan Steeves of Berwick, NS; also by three nieces and one nephew. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy G. (Gillies) Steeves in 1996; sister, Alverda Madden in 1992; brothers, Hollis and Raymond Steeves. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Friday, July 14, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In Murray's memory, donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by his family.
