Mr. Cecil J. Stymiest
Mr. Cecil J. Stymiest 1926 - 2006 TABUSINTAC, N.B. - Mr. Cecil John Stymiest, husband of Jean Stymiest, of Ottawa, ON, and formerly of Tabusintac, passed away at his summer residence, in Tabusintac, on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at the age of 80. Born in Tabusintac, he was the son of the late Eldon and Lima (Graham) Stymiest. He was a teacher by profession and taught at the Provincial Normal School in Fredericton, as well at schools in Oromocto, NB and Ottawa, ON. He was a member of the Ontario Retired Teachers Assoc. He is survived by his wife, the former, Jean Sidwell; two daughters, Lisa Stymiest of Toronto, ON and Sara Creaghan (Peter) of Toronto, ON; two sons, Peter Stymiest of Toronto, ON and John Stymiest (Laura) of Ottawa, ON; six grandchildren, Jordan, Jayne and Will Stymiest and Jack, Phoebe and Charlotte Creaghan; one brother, Graham Stymiest; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Jack Stymiest. By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The public are invited to attend a Memorial Service from St. Andrews United Church, Tabusintac, on a time and date to be announced, conducted by Rev. J.D. Kennedy. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Tabusintac. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
