Minerva Dobson AMHERST, NS - The death of Minerva (Nonie) Dobson, age 90, of Amherst, occurred at the Gables Nursing Home on Thursday, July 13, 2006. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Elizabeth (Williams) Marr. A veteran of WW II she served with the WREN's. Nonie was predeceased by her husband, Frank in 2001; and her son, Douglas Tennant in 1984. She is survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. Her remains have been entrusted into the professional care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17 at 11 AM.
