Daniel P. Murray AMHERST, NS - Daniel (Danny) Patrick Murray, 37, of Amherst, N.S. passed away at home Wednesday July 12, 2006. Born in Perth Andover, he was raised in Petitcodiac. A son of Leonard and Patricia (Ives) Murray. Danny graduated from Petitcodiac Regional High and the Atlantic Police Academy; served a year with the Shediac Police Force and was employed as a Police Officer with the Town of Amherst for the past seven years. He will be sadly missed by his parents of Salisbury; beloved wife, the former Anika Becker; step son, Alex; sisters, Theresa Nelson (Trevor Taylor) of Sudbury, On., Donna Brubacher (Frank) of Petitcodiac, Tina Rogers (Terry) of Truro, N.S.; brothers, Michael Murray of Salisbury, Randy Murray (Ruthie) of Killams Mills as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Friday, 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers and memory sharing will be at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral will be held from St. Jude's Church, Salisbury on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Doucette officiating. Interment will be at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, Leaman Hill.
