Gordon G. Wilson
Gordon G. Wilson 1926 - 2006 Gordon George Wilson of Dobson Corner, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, July 25 2006, following a brief illness. Born in Allison, NB, on February 11, 1926, he was the son of the late George and Ada (Bishop) Wilson. Gordon loved spending time outdoors and working with wood. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean Wilson (Lane) of Dobson Corner; four sons, Naaman (Carol) of Petitcodiac, Stephen (Colleen) of Richmond Hill, ON, Rev. Gilbert (Jo-Anne) and Clarence; daughter, Deborah Pearson all of Dobson Corner; sisters, Harriett Wilson of South Keswick ON, Edith Okane (Rick) of Salisbury; four brothers, Ben, Ernest (Marion), David (Sandy) and Raymond (Linda) all of Ontario; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Gerald, Cecil, Russell, Earle and Roy, killed in action during Second World War. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 28th, 2006 at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, 2460 Mountain Road, Moncton. A reception for Gordon's friends and family will follow the service in the Garden View Reception Room of Fair Haven Funeral Home. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a memorial of the donor's choice.
