Merle D. Cochrane SALISBURY, NB - Merle Douglas Cochrane, 76, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Monteagle, Merle was a son of the late Thomas and Melissa (Hicks) Cochrane. He retired after many years as a heavy equipment mechanic and together with his wife enjoyed going to auctions and flea markets. Survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, the former Sheila Hiltz; children, Deborah Hudson (Dale) of Indian Mountain, Reginald (Susan) of Berry Mills, and Norman (Carolin) of Monteagle; grandchildren, Jamie Cochrane and Carlee Cochrane; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister and four brothers. Arrangements are in the care of the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) where visitation and Funeral will be private for family. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.
