Charles Thomas Reinsborough CHATHAM, NB - Charles Thomas Reinsborough of Chatham, NB passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, August 19th, 2006 at the age of 78 years following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Chatham, NB on December 29, 1927, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ellen (Cook) Reinsborough. He received his education at St. Thomas High School and the former St. Thomas College, receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1949. He was employed with Employment and Immigration from 1968, retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Michael's Basilica, Chatham and a former member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus. Charlie is survived by his wife Margaret (Leonard) Reinsborough; one son, Brian (Cambria) of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Ellen Marie (Brad Veitch) of Orrington, Maine, Colleen (David Watling) and Cathy of Miramichi; and by his favorite companion, Bailey. He is also survived by two grandsons, Calder and Kellen Reinsborough; two granddaughters, Alix Veitch and Reeve Reinsborough. He is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by two brothers, Bannon (Mary), Edward; and his two sisters, Mary (Frank) Walsh and Elizabeth. Visitation was held at Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi, on Saturday August 19th from 7 to 9 pm and on Sunday August 20th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, August 21st, at 11am from St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi. Interment was in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Extra Mural Program or the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
