Hazel Marguerite, R.N. . (nee Noel) Passed peacefully away on August 14, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Hazel Marguerite Rose in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Maxwell (1987) and brothers Marcus, Bert and Ralph. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Robert (Jean), Gordon with whom she resided and Douglas (Linda); grandchildren Jeremy, Tieneke, Amy, Kathryn and Nathan; special sister-in-law and friend Dorothy Noel and also a number of other relatives and friends. Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit, the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center and the Oncology Ward of the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Thomas' Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
