At the Margaret Stewart Ellis Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Thursday, March 5, 2009 of Joseph Patrick Ellsworth of Miminegash age 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Olive nee Thibodeau Ellsworth. Born November 9, 1928 he was the son of the late Arnold and Agnes nee Gallant Ellsworth. Dear brother to Mary Ellsworth of St. Edwards, Ethel (Claude) Kelly of Charlottetown, Lucina Towers of Amherst, N.S., Velda (Ralph) Peters of Windsor, Ont., Richard (Shirley) of St. Edwards, Brad of St. Edwards, Harold (Bernetta) of St. Edwards, Morgan (Peggy) of St. Louis, Wayne (Verna) of Bloomfield. He is also survived by his nieces and newphews. He was predeceased by sisters Eileen Ellsworth and Kathleen Butler. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday morning from the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
