May Watt HALIFAX, NS - The death of May Watt, age 97, widow of Robert Watt, of Halifax, formerly of Sackville, NB, occurred on Saturday, September 9, 2006. Born in Calgary, AB, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie Cork. Educated in Quebec and Massachusetts, she married her husband of 60 years, Robert Watt in 1935. Moving to Sackville in 1946, she raised her family and worked at Mount Allison University until her retirement. Active in community organizations, she was a member of the Sackville United Church, was active in Girl Guides and IODE. May will be sadly missed her two sons, Donald (Susan), Montreal and Robert (Patsy), Dawson City, Yukon; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; daughter, Barbara and brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place under the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300). A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 1 pm, Rev. John Perkin officiating. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery.
