Benjamin J. Dickson 1911-2006 MIRAMICHI, NB - Benjamin John Dickson, husband of Eileen Dickson, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home, and formerly of Desmond Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday evening, September 23, 2006, at the age of 95. Born in Center Napan, on September 12, 1911, he was the son of the late Ernest and Clara (Wheal) Dickson. He was a laborer prior to retirement and attended the King Street United Pentecostal Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen R. Power, of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home; five daughters, Lillian Ball (Stanley), of Niagara Falls, Ont., Clara Collette, of Miramichi, Violet Matthews (Roland), of London, Ont., Jean Carroll, of Miramichi, Geraldine Arbeau (Campbell), of Miramichi; three sons, Benjamin Dickson Jr., William Dickson, John (Jack) Dickson (Wendy), all of Miramichi; 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Robert Dickson; two sisters, Violet Dickson and Marjorie Comeau; one brother, Charles Dickson. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Monday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from King Street United Pentecostal Church, on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at 10 am, conducted by Pastor Brent Carter. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
