Esther Ward SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Esther Ward, age 74, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 25, 2006. Born in Rockport, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Alleda (Lockhart) Ward. Esther worked for many years at the Enterprise Foundry, Sackville. She was a member of the Rockport United Church. A musician, she played keyboard, guitar and fiddle at various community functions. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Alta Crawford, Riverview; nephew Robert (Anternetta) Crawford, and niece, Susan (Ian) Fowler, their children Jennifer and John Crawford, Amy and Laura Fowler. She was predeceased by a brother, Steven Clark Jr. Esther's remains have been cremated under the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (506-364-1300). A memorial service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home on Friday, October 6, 2006 at 2 pm, followed by interment of the ashes in the Rockport Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
