The death occurred suddenly at his home, March 8, 2009, of John Graham Weeks of Winsloe, age 84. John was a veteran of the Second World War who served on the battlefields of Europe. John will be so missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Bernice Weeks (MacArthur) and his two sons: Paul (Marlene) and David (Maurice) of Charlottetown. He is lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren: Tanya Weeks Garnhum (Scott) and Paula Pollard (Kent) and by his five great- grandchildren: Harrison, Lilla, Pearce, Cheyenne and Camden. John is survived by his sister, Catherine Yeo, sister-in-law, Betty Weeks and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by close family friend, Susan Willis. John was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Josephine (MacNeill) Weeks of Winsloe and four brothers: Albert “Abbie”, Stephen, Robert “Bobby”, infant Norman; four sisters: Florence Templar, Alma Vickerson, Eileen Murphy, Elizabeth “Beth” Weeks ; three brother in-laws: Bob Vickerson, George Yeo, Albert Templar and two sister-in-laws: Olga Weeks, Doreen Weeks. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Wednesday from Park Royal United Church at 11 a.m. Interment later in Highfield Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memoriall donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
