John Richards 1941 - 2006 MIDGIC, NB - The death of John Richards, age 65, of Midgic, occurred on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville. Born in Midgic, he was a son of Sherman Richards and the late Verna (Hicks) Richards. John lived most of his life in Midgic, helping various farmers in the area. John will be sadly missed by his father, Sherman, Midgic; brothers, Hyman (Sheila), Midgic, Darryl, Sackville, Noel (Elizabeth), Kingston, ON, Terry (Susan) and Ralph, both of Sackville; sisters, Marilyn King and Cheryl Wilson, both of Kingston, Dianne (Floyd) Wheaton and Charlene Richards, both of Midgic, Janice (David) Sears, Sackville and Lona (Douglas) Crosthwaite of Dorchester; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother. The remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 2 pm, burial in the Midgic Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
