Yvonne L. Colburn 1921 - 2006 Yvonne L. Colburn 85, of Mapleton Village, Moncton and formerly of Lakeville with her family at her side passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday November 14, 2006. Born in Hillsborough, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Flora (Wells) Douthwright. Yvonne was a former employee of Spencer's Drug Store, Life Member of the Ladies Auxilary Sunny Brae Legion # 54, member of Tidal Wave #16 Pythian Sisters. In her younger years, Yvonne was a catcher for twenty years with the Moncton Regals and Moncton Hubsters Ladies Softball Teams. She enjoyed bowling in the seniors league at Fairlanes and was an avid Blue Jays Fan. Yvonne will be sadly missed by her husband of 68 years Raymond; Daughters, Marie Smith (John), Shirley Donovan (Gord), Loretta Comfort (Joseph), Moncton, Carol Croteau (Leo), Mississauga, ON; Son, Brian (Carmelle), Moncton; 12 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; Several Great Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Josephine Vickers, Freda LeBlanc (PeeWee), Pauline Douthwright, Moncton; Brother, Paul Douthwright, Moncton. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Robert (1981); Grandson, Todd Comfort; Brothers, Frank, Robert; Sisters, Edna, Marjorie, Flora.
