Neta A. Garland 1925 - 2006 SALISBURY - Neta A. Garland of Salisbury, formerly of Elgin, passed away Sunday, November 26th, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 81. Born in Ferndale, she was the daughter of the late James Ranford and Elsie (Collier) Bannister. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hillside Baptist Church. She is survived by daughters, Anna Linkletter (Donald) of Elgin, Eileen Garland of Colpitts Settlement, Aleta Sabean (James) of Barnesville; sons, Edward (Elaine) of Pickerington, ON, Gerald (Mary) of Sussex Corner, Ronald (Pauline) of Ferndale, Richard (Marilyn) of Havelock, Austin (Pam) of Delta, BC, James (Charlene) of Elgin, Robert (Kim) of Elgin, Ralph (Brenda) of Salisbury; 19 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe; a son, David; sisters Tena and Violet; brothers, Glen, Devere and Reid. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Tuesday, November 28th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from First Elgin Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 29th, 2006 at 3pm, Pastor James Hammond officiating. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery.
