Margaret Helena (McAulty) Steeves
Margaret Helena (McAulty) Steeves 1917 - 2006 Margaret Steeves, 88, of Germantown passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital. Margaret was born in Goshen on December 14th, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Helena (Martin) McAulty. She worked in the Nursing Service at the Hotel Dieu Hospital and also worked at the Albert County Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church and was active in the C.W.L.. She was always willing to help people when they needed her. She was a special lady who will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed her two daughters, Sylvia Babineau of Bowanville, Ont. and Juanita Bernard (Dale) of Oshawa, Ont.; also by her son, Gary Steeves (Debbie) of Levack, Ontario; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her niece, Belva Sokoloski and nephew, Garth Hanlon. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Blair Joseph Steeves; son, Reginald; two sisters, Teresa and Clara. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, December 4th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Parish Prayers and a time of sharing memories will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday evening, December 4th, 2006 at 8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 at 11am. Interment will be held at the Holy Ghost Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, N.B. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further reminiscing and for refreshments at the Riverside-Albert Recreation Center. In Lieu of flowers for those who wish donations to the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
