Roy W. Carter 1924-2006 THE GLADES, NB - Roy William Carter, 82, of The Glades, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Petitcodiac, he was a son of the late Corey and Marion (Geldart) Carter. Roy retired as a maintenance worker from the former Jordan Memorial Home. He was a member of the Glades Baptist Church and the Petitcodiac Valley Golf and Country Club. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, the former Pauline Wilson; his sons, Larry (Debbie) and Stephen (Barbara) of Colpitts Settlement, Allison (Angela) of Sussex; grandchildren, Kevin Carter, Christa Steeves and Jenna Carter; sister, Erma Gray (Donald) of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Leslie and two infant brothers. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday, December 11, from 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 12, at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Blyth officiating. Interment will be at The Glades Baptist Cemetery.
