Formerly of Pinchard’s Island and Newtown, passed peacefully away on March 7, 2009, in her 87th year, at St. Luke’s Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Isaac, and brother Maxwell and infant brother Henry. Leaving to mourn with many happy memories: children; Lloyd (Roberta), Belle (Robert Parsons), Robert (Jennifer), Heber (Maybelle) and Eric
(Susan), 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Neta, Ethel (Clarence Norris) and Nellie, and brother, Norman (Lorraine) and a host of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 9, and 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, March 10. Funeral services at Barrett’s Chapel, 2 p.m. Tuesday with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
