Heloise (Liza) M. Williston 1909 - 2006 MIRAMICHI - Heloise (Liza) Mary Williston, widow of the late Stewart H. Williston, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Escuminac, passed away at her residence, on Monday afternoon, December 18th, 2006, at the age of 97. Born in Tracadie, on April 19, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Stanislous and Elizabeth (Sonier) Benoit. She was a homemaker and Roman Catholic by Faith. She is survived by one foster daughter, Linda Bouchard (Rick) of Ottawa, Ont.; three foster sons, Gilles Hachey (Linda), of Miramichi, Paul Hachey (Nicole), of Trois Riviere, Que., Jean Guy Hachey (Sandy), of lower Sackville, N.S.; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Stewart, in 1993; two sisters, Olive Daigle and Victoria Dugal; one brother, Frederick Benoit. Visiting will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, Miramichi, on Wednesday only, December 20th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon, December 20th, 2006 at 3 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste Anne, on Thursday, December 21st, 2006, at 11 am conducted by Father Robert Savoie. Interment will be in the private family burial site, in Escuminac. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
