A. Thyra Quartermain 1907 - 2006 Thyra Quartermain, of Moncton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the age of 99. Born in Grand Manan Island, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Marcia (Small) Lambert. She was a former school teacher having taught in the Moncton area. Thyra was a member of Central United Church in Moncton and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is last surviving member of her immediate family. Thyra was predeceased by her husband, William J. Quartermain; two sisters, Ruth Lambert and Connie Bennett; and by a brother, John Lambert. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Dr. Jim MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
