Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 7, 2009 after a brief illness, Mildred Groves, aged 87 years. Predeceased by sister Ruby (2002), brother Wilburn (2007). Leaving to mourn sister Myrtle Groves, brother-in-law Everett LeDrew, niece Donna Hunt, nephews John, Brian, Carl, Doug and Chris LeDrew and families. Special friend Joyce Anthony at Kelly’s Brook Apartments and friends and caregivers at Chancellor Park. At Mildred’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held at Bonavista at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital.
