Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit in the presence of her loving family and friends on March 7th, 2009, Helen Morrissey age 71 years. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas (Bill) in 1995. Lovingly remembered by her sons Wayne and Darrell (Sandra); cherished grandsons: Michael, Justin and Ryan; brothers: Clem Dunphy (Betty) and Paul Dunphy (Zita); sisters: Fran Halley (Denis), Rose Connors, Anne Hobson (Gerald), Biddy O’Keefe (Pierre) and Marie Harding. Helen is fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Loretta Brushett (Paddy), Marcella Crane and Catherine Hatfield; as well as her many life-long caring and compassionate friends and neighbours. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday, March 9th from 7to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 10th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Newfoundland Drive. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit.
