Aubrey F. Forsythe
Aubrey F. Forsythe 1919 - 2007 Aubrey F. Forsythe, 88, of Moncton passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday January 1, 2007. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late John and Laura (Steeves) Forsythe. Aubrey was a retired CNR Yard Master with over 35 years service, member of the Moncton Legion #6, CNR War Vets and veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with the Carleton York Regiment Canadian Army. He enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time at his cottage, playing darts, cards and dancing. Aubrey will be sadly missed by his wife of 23 years, Joyce (Ripley) Forsythe; his son, Al Forsythe, Moncton; grandchildren, Colleen, Tim, Shawn, Jeff, Kelly-Jo, Mark; ten great grandchildren; sister, Verna Steeves (Gerald), Moncton; brothers, Murdock (Faye), Carl (Aline), Moncton; fondly remembered by Carole, Susan and Raymond; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, predeceased by his 1st wife, Geraldine (Gerry) (McKay) (1981); daughter, Sharon Lynn; son, John (Jackie); sisters, Evelyn and Doris; brother, Harold. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Friday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Moncton Legion #6 Memorial Service Friday 3pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, January 6, 2007, 1:30pm. Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
