Patrick James Nowlan FREDERICTON, NB - The death of Patrick James Nowlan of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, January 11th, 2007. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Harold and Margaret (O'Keeffe) Nowlan. Patrick graduated from the Fredericton Agriculture School in 1961 and later attended St. Thomas University when he graduated in 1984. He will be sadly missed at the University of New Brunswick where he worked for the last 26 years in the English Language Program during the Intersession and Summer Sessions with the position of canteen manager. Pat was very active and long time member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Survived by two brothers, Michael (Gertrude) of Oromocto, NB, and William (Dorothy) of Miramichi, NB; one sister, Martina McCarthy (Lawrence) of Miramichi, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14th, from 7 to 9 pm and Monday, January 15th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 16th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Rev. Monte Peters as Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date.
