Mr. Denis L. Broadbelt 1943-2007 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Denis Lloyd Broadbelt, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, January 24th, 2007, at the age of 63. Born in Sherbrook, Quebec, he is the son of Lloyd and Phyllis (Littler) Broadbelt. He was a retired employee of the former Hotel Dieu Hospital, employed as an orderly. He attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Phyllis Broadbelt, of Mount Stewart, PEI; three daughters, Donna Whalen (Terry) and Wendy Neally (David), all of Miramichi, Barb Corrigan (Brian), of Halifax, NS; two sons, Ken Blacquier (Deatra), of Miramichi and Gary Blacquier (Andrea), of Fredericton; three sisters, Mary Broadbelt-Simard, of Montreal, Quebec, Ann MacDonald (Paul), of Mount Stewart, PEI, Phyllis McCulluam, of Miramichi and a very special friend, Elisabeth Mercier; nine grandchildren, Terry, Krista, David, Brian, Francis, Ryan, Riley, Jansen and Liam; nieces and nephews, Carolyn, Kim, Andrew, Holly and Lisa. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, on Friday only, January 26th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica, on Saturday, January 27th, 2007, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
