Douglas Simpson 1947 - 2007 COLPITTS SETTLEMENT, NB - Douglas Raymond Simpson, 59, of Colpitts Settlement passed away Tuesday, January 30th, 2007 at home following a lengthy illness. Born at Roachville he was a son of the late Everett and Dorothy (Dyer) Simpson. Doug worked for over 22 years for EZ Builders and was a former member of the Salisbury Legion. Survived by his wife and best friend, the former Mildred Jones; daughters, Kathy Simpson (Bob) of Middlesex, Cherry Gladstone (Stuart) of Colpitts Settlement, Flossie Deveau (Dale) of Second North River; sons, Raymond and Harold of Salisbury; grandchildren, Tasha, Tiffany, Lindsay, Corey and Warnock. Survived also by sisters, Linda Almon, Marlene McParland, Karen Almon, Kim Gray, Janice Reeder; brothers, Jim and Danny; several nieces and nephews and many good friends. Predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Gary. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Rd. (372-4800) on Wednesday, January 31st, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be no funeral by request and a private family graveside service will be held at Five Points Cemetery at a later date.
