Passed suddenly away at his home on March 6, 2009 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his loving wife Rowena; His parents, John and Ethel; sisters Beryl, Mabel, Pearl and Ruby; and brother Gerald. Leaving to mourn sons Ron (Sharon), Fred (Christina), Sean (Mary); sister Merlie (Pat) Morrissey; Sister-in-law Jean Skinner; Grandchildren Renée (Philip), Rodney (Bethany), and Laura; Great-grandchildren Carson, Owen, and Noah; As well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
