Roger (Rod) Bronson Mills FREDERICTON, NB - The death of Roger (Rod) Bronson Mills, husband of the late Lynn (Rooney) Mills of Fredericton, NB occurred on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Winnipeg, MB, he was the son of Roger Mills and stepmother Lillian Mills. Mr. Mills worked for the Provincial Government with the Department of Supply and Services for 30 years. He was a member of the Fredericton Yacht Club and was a passionate sailor. Mr. Mills is survived by three daughters, Shelley Hewitson (Michael) of Fredericton, Lisa Cervantes (J.C.) of Weston, Florida and Heather Mills (Tony Badry) of Whitehorse; grandchildren, Matthew and Lukas Hewitson and Katherine and Sebastian Cervantes; one stepsister, Beth McCaie (Roger) of Sackville, NB; and special friend and companion, Gillian Sharp. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 11 am from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Interment will held in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
