Marguerite Melanson MEMRAMCOOK, NB - Marguerite Melanson of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Pre-D'en-Haut) passed away at her residence on Tuesday February 27, 2007 at the age of 96. Born in Pre-D'en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe Richard and the late Lea Cormier. She is survived by a special grand niece Georgette (Bernard) LeBlanc; and her children Marc (Chantal), Martin (Chantal) and Sophie (Rodney); and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Melanson (1978); one special nephew, George (Anita) Auffrey (2006); three sisters, Irene, Leola and Saraphine; and by four brothers, Raymond, Dosithe, Vital and Elie. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral home, 15 Rte La Vallee Memramcook on Wednesday February 28 from 7 to 9pm and Thursday March 1 8:30 to 9:00 am. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic church, Pre-D'en-Haut on Thursday March 1 at 9:30 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
