Veronica O'Connor TORONTO, ON - Veronica passed away in February, 2007 after a short illness at the Sunny Brook Hospital in Toronto. She was born in Riverside, the daughter of the late Lewis and Gertrude (Danahy) O'Connor. She served many years for the Archdioceses of Toronto Chancery office. She is survived by her sisters, Marcia Pastel of Chicago and Rose Marie McDermott of Vancouver; her brother, Charles O'Connor of Quebec; her aunt, Margaret O'Connor of Dieppe; and by cousins, Gerald Danahy of Riverside-Albert, Eileen Sullivan of Moncton and Grace Elderkin of Riverside-Albert. A short prayer service was held from Murray E. Newbigging Funeral Home Chapel in Toronto. Honoring Veronica's own wishes cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass and burial will take place in Riverside-Albert in the spring, where she will be buried with her parents.
