Ernestine Savoy 1932 - 2007 LOGGIEVILLE, NB - Ernestine Savoy, 74, of Loggieville, passed away at the Tabusintac Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007. Born June 25th, 1932 in Molus River, Kent County, the daughter of the late James and Bridget (McDermott) Roach. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years, Dearborn; daughters, Margaret (Roger) Comeau of Miramichi, Karen (Ronnie) Comeau of Miramichi, Danna (Earl) Mott of Fredericton, Mabel Stewart of Miramichi; sons, David (Sharon), Stephen (Brenda) and Billy (Cheryl) all of Miramichi; 14 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; nine sisters, Geraldine Meunier (Hermas) of Memramcook, Betty Despres (Fred MacDonald) of Moncton, Norma McNairn (Laurie) of Oakville, ON, Alberta Parlee (Jim) of Burlington, ON, Carmel Whalen (late James) of Molus River, Joanne Murphy (late Howard) of Bella Philip, Rose Jean Cormier (Ronnie) of Targetville, Peggy Leger (Rene) of St. Paul, Theresa Bernard of Moncton; four brothers, Thomas Roach (Jean) of Irishtown, James Roach (Jeannie) of Murdleville, Mac Roach of Moncton, Hughie Roach (Cathy) of Main River; three sisters-in-law, Gen Cook (Ray), Pat Roach and Judy Hovorka. She is predeceased by three brothers, Urban, Ivan and Raymond. Mrs. Ernestine Savoy is resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi on Friday, March 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17th, 2007 at 11am from St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church in Loggieville with Fr. Claude Daigle officiating. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Miramichi Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
