Owen Thomas Douthwright 1936 - 2007 ALBERTA - Owen Thomas Douthwright born in Colpitts Settlement, NB on Dec. 6th, 1936, passed away on March 12th, 2007 at the Stony Plain Hospital in Alberta at the age of 70 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Nelson & Ada (Davis) Douthwright; brother, Harold Davis; sisters, Greta and Verna; a son, Douglas; daughter, Donna; and stepson, Bentley Rogers. Owen was an auto mechanic by trade in Powell River, BC for many years and loved his boat, fishing, hunting and friends. He will be sadly missed by his son, Clint (Heather) Douthwright; daughters, Brenda (Wade) Steeves and Faye (Darren) Geldart, and their mother, Irene; his daughter, Tracey Gow, Alberta and her mother, Shirley; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Orville, Fred, and Reg (Joyce) Davis, Gordon, Robert and Richard (Eva) Douthwright; sisters, Dorothy Morrissey and Virginia Lewis; and a very dear friend, Dorothy Henry of High Level, Alberta. Services are being held at Parkland Funeral Services in Alberta on Monday, March 19th, 2007.
