Everett West Taylor WOODSTOCK, ON - Everett West Taylor passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, Ontario in his 101st year. Beloved husband for 73 years to the late (1999) Merle Mae Taylor (nee Dysart). They moved in 1991 from Riverview, N.B. to Woodstock, Ontario. Dear father to Hazel Kitching of Woodstock and her late husband Charles, Vaughn and Eleanor Taylor of Waterloo, Clarence and Glenna Taylor of Doaktown, N.B., Betty and Jim Driscoll of Mississauga, and Brian Taylor of Millbrook and his late wife Sandra. Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 24. Predeceased by his great grandson, Scott Taylor of Doaktown, N.B. Survived by two sisters, Edna Knowlton (the late Clayton) of Vancouver and Ella LeFort (the late Tom) of Fredericton and predeceased by three brothers, Edgar, Roy and Sterling. Everett was a quiet man loved by all who knew him. An expert on steam and diesel locomotives at CNR in Moncton. A gifted man in many areas such as construction, woodworking, crafts and poetry. He was an avid golfer in his retirement years, playing five days a week. He also loved to travel, especially on bus trips. Special thanks to Dr. Vu and the caregivers at St. Peter and Andrew Retirement Home, Woodstock General Hospital and Woodingford Lodge for their love and care for Everett. A Memorial Service to celebrate Everett's life will be held in the chapel at SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 1:30 pm with Rev.
