Victor L. Trenholm
Victor L. Trenholm 1914 - 2007 Victor L. Trenholm, of Westmount Blvd, Moncton,NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, March 17th, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Born in Port Elgin, NB on November 19th, 1914 he was the son of the late Wilson and Lucretia Trenholm. Upon completion of college, he enlisted in the RCAF at a rank of sergeant. A veteran of WWII, serving active duty in Canada and overseas, he received medals and declarations in France and Germany, Star Defence medal, Canadian volunteer service medal with clasp, and WWII medal 1939-1945. He also served in the RCAF Regular Forces. Upon retirement from the military service he operated his own business. Victor liked to help others, he was a real gentlemen, and he enjoyed sports, traveling, fishing, working on cars, boats and planes. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving and caring special lady Alice Neal. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert Trenholm many years ago. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home and Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Wednesday March 21st, 2007 from 11:30am until time of service at 1:30pm. with Rev. Rick Thomas officiating. There will be a reception to follow. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 will be holding a prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday morning at 11:15am. Interment will be in Birchill Cemetery in the spring. In Victor's memory, donations made to War Amps Canada or to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
