Merle MacDougall 1922 - 2007 Passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, March 21st, 2007 at the age of 84, loving wife of Russell C. MacDougall of Moncton. Born in Lewisville, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Cora Hopper. Merle is survived by her children, Faye Oakley (Ron), Stephen (Pat), Tom (Florine), Susan MacDougall (Art Colpitts), Ann Chapman (Stephen), Eric (Anne), Mike (Sandy) and Ruth Ross (Warren); 21 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and by several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her great grandchild, Megan Oakley. Merle was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral service will be held from Harrisville United Protestant Church, Landry Street (Harrisville), Moncton on Saturday, March 24th, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Harrisville United Protestant Church Fund would be appreciated by the family.
