Frederick Leonard Gallant RED BANK, NB - The death of Frederick Leonard Gallant, husband of Patsy Gallant of Red Bank, NB, occurred on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 74. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Frederick and Viola (Bauer) Gallant. Besides his wife, Patsy, Fred is survived by one daughter, Marina Gallant of Miramichi, NB; three sons, Bill of Alberta, Glen (Janice) of Alberta, Eugene (Lynn) of Miramichi, NB; one sister, Faye Pratt (John) of Lower Sackville, NS; one brother, John (Bernice) of Moncton, NB; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Fred is predeceased by son, Joshua in 2006 The family will receive visitors at Meadows Funeral Home on Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank on Monday at 11 AM with Father Dan Melanson officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring. In Fred's memory, donations may be made to St. Thomas Cemetery Fund or to the Autism Society.
