Francis (Frank) Waye MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Francis (Frank) Richard Waye of Miramichi, NB, occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the age of 52. Born in Newcastle, Francis is the son of the late Alphonse and Louise (Matchett) Waye. Francis was a School Teacher with School District # 16 and a Knight with the Father Dixon Council, and a member of the Miramichi Golf & Country Club. Francis is survived by three sisters, Helena Waye (Bill Riley) of Miramichi, NB, Catherine Parks (Kerry) of Miramichi, NB and Jennifer Sullivan (George) of Miramichi, NB; four brothers, Melvin (Peggy) of Miramichi, Michael (Brenda) of Miramichi, Wendell (Sandra) of Sunny Corner and Larry of Miramichi, NB; four nephews and six nieces; and a special friend, Kim Matchett. Visitation will be held at Bell's Funeral Home Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 7 to 9 PM and Friday, April 20, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 2 PM with Father Tom Fowler. Burial will take place in St Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. In Frank's memory a memorial may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
