Viola Murray 1921 - 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Viola Kathleen Murray at the Moncton City Hospital on March 24, 2007 following a brief illness. Bodie was born in Springhill, the second daughter of Roseanna L. (Brown) and Millard R. Skidmore. She received her education in Springhill and studied nursing at All Saint's Hospital and became a Registered Nurse. She married Allister Murray and they made their home in Moncton. Having no children of their own, Bodie and Al enjoyed the many visitations of their nieces and nephew. Besides her parents and husband, Bodie was predeceased by her brother, Harold Skidmore (Springhill) and her sister, Ethel Hovey (Fredericton). She leaves to mourn her sister, Leta M. (Skidmore) McBurnie; nephew Mick (Rae) McBurnie of Springhill; and niece, Pat (Dave) McBurnie of Halifax; grand nieces and nephews, Patricia, Jason, Keri, Kim, Chuck, Marni, Mitch; brother and sister-in-law, Fraser and Freda Murray of Moncton; and brother-in-law, Ronald Hovey of Fredericton. Memorial service will be held from Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 28th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only; in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital.
