C. Myron Paynter
C. Myron Paynter C. Myron Paynter, 64, of Riverview passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, May 12, 2007 after a brief illness. Born in Summerside, PE, he was the son of the late Horace and Phyllis (Hickey) Paynter. Myron served with the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force) in Canada (1960-1974) and received the Certificate of Declaration (CD) award. He was involved in car and farm equipment sales and was retired Sales Manager at Rallye Motors Hyundai, Moncton. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Riverview, where he served as Chair of the Trustees and was a former Stewart of the church. A member of the Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Assoc., he was an avid Moncton Wildcat Hockey fan who also enjoyed golf and watching other sports. Myron will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Karolyn (Stewart) Paynter; daughters, Merrily Melanson, Riverview, Sylvia MacNeil Gautreau (Jac), Moncton; grandchildren, Kila, Noah, Connor and Zoe; sister, Anna Johnstone (Hilton Bryanton), Kensington, PE; brother, James (Laura), Summerside, PE; sister-in-law, Janet Haslam (Wilber Lamont), French River, PE; several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Monday 6 to 9pm. Funeral service at St. Paul's United Church, Cleveland Ave, Riverview, Tuesday, May 15, 2007, 11am, Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Reception in the church hall following the service. Interment,Cavendish Community Cemetery, Cavendish, PE, Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 11.am, followed by a reception at Cavendish United Church.
