Marjorie E. McLaughlin 1917 - 2007 Marjorie Elizabeth McLaughlin, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007. Born in Fredericton on December 24th, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Annie (Buchanan) Watters. Marjorie was a lifetime member and past chief of the Pythian Sisters, Saxby Temple #35. She spent many hours volunteering at The Moncton Hospital and enjoyed donating her knitting to many organizations. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Joan Hicks (Alan) of Riverview and Valerie Lewis (Brian) of Moncton; sisters, Doris McCumber of Saint John and Lois Thompson (Roy) of Moncton; grandchildren, Janice Cain of Vancouver, BC, Robert Cain (Cynthia) of Riverview, Jeff Milburn (Claudine) of Moncton and Mike Lewis of Moncton; step grandchild, Judith Hicks of Riverview; great grandchildren, Sarah Cain and Julia Milburn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Doug, Burton and Alison Watters. Visitation at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24th, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday May 25th at St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge Avenue Riverview. A reception will follow the service in the church hall. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
