Donna Rae Gouchie AMHERST, NS - Donna Rae Gouchie age 54, of Amherst passed away Thursday, May 31st, 2007 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Sackville, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Whyman and Eileen (Edgett) Phinney. Donna had a love for animals, she raised and showed Siberian Huskies and later adopted her beloved cat, Sneaker. She and her husband owned and operated the Redwood Takeout in Amherst for several years. Donna enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Upper Cape, NB. Donna's many family and friends will miss her kind heart and generous personality. She is survived by her husband, Kenny; daughter, Michelle (Ernie) Landry of Amherst; and son, Paul (Joelene) of Haute Aboujagane, NB; granddaughters, Samantha, Kyrsten, Felicia and Jessica; and several aunts and cousins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4th at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church, Amherst with Rev. Byron Corkum officiating. Interment will take place in the Sackville Cemetery.
