Aline Roy

Aline Roy 1931 - 2007 Aline Roy, wife of the late Leonard Roy, of Moncton and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness at the age of 75 years. Born in Bouctouche on October 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Donat LeBlanc and Mélina Cormier. A retired housewife, she attended St-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. She is survived by five daughters, Marguerite Trottier (Normand) of Markstay, Ontario, Linda MacDonald of Cocagne, Jeannette Joly (Bob) of Sudbury, Ontario, Claudette Béland (Jules) of Sudbury, Ontario and Louise Roy (Gerry) of St-Paul; two sons, Paul and Gerry both of Moncton; four sisters, Irène Collette (Lionel) of Bouctouche, Marie-Jeanne Collette (late Alfred) of Sudbury, Ontario, Doris Maillet (Conrad) of Bouctouche and Hélena Maillet (Antoine) of Shirley, Mass; four brothers, Alcide (Jeanne), Patrick (Zella), Aubrey (late Simonne) all from Bouctouche and Cloris (Yvoniste) of Moncton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Aquilla and Alonzo; three sisters, Yvonne, Exelda and Anita. Resting at St-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche, with visiting hours on Friday, June 22 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2:00 pm at St-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. If so desired, donations of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff of the Moncton City Hospital.
