Leota Anderson

Leota Anderson 1928 - 2007 Leota Anderson, 79, of Moncton, passed away on July 5, 2007 at The Moncton City Hospital after a sudden illness. Born in Shediac Bridge, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Babineau and the late Elsie Petitpas. Before her retirement, she worked for Swift Canada. She attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion # 6. She is survived by one son, Tony LeBlanc (Lyne) of Riverview; three sisters, Ida Cormier (late Léonide) of St-Antoine, Ernestine Goulet (Rolland) of Nevada, USA and Lorette Allain (late Léandre) of Moncton; four brothers, Alphonse Babineau (Ozita) of Moncton, Aquila Babineau (Annie), Fred Babineau (Viola) and Roger Babineau (Anne) all from Shediac Bridge; three grandchildren, Natalie, Michelle and Mathieu; three great grandchildren, Cassidy Lyne, Keighan and Hunter. Predeceased by her first husband, Alcide LeBlanc (1999) and second husband, Jack Anderson (1982); three sisters, Claudette, Diana and Yvette; three brothers, Amedé, Alban and Gérard. Resting at Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, 3754, Rte 134, Shediac Bridge with visitation on Thursday, July 5 from 7 tp 9 pm. Funeral Service at Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative Chapel on Friday, July 6 at 11 am. Interment in parish cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
