Yvonne Margaret Dalton MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Yvonne (Bonnie) Margaret (Matchett) Dalton, wife of the late James Dalton of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Sevogle, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Wedden) Matchett. Bonnie was a homemaker who attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Bonnie is survived by two sons, James Jr. (Joan) of Wainwright AB, and Greg (Peggy) of Miramichi, NB; four daughters, Carol Anne Dinan (Billy) of Moncton, NB, Paula Stewart (Glen) of Miramichi, NB, Corinne Silliker (Gary) of Mahone Bay, NS, and Kathy Phipps of Smithers, BC; one brother, Edward (Lois) of Miramichi, NB; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, James, Bonnie is predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle, on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 11 AM with Father Tom Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In Bonnie's memory, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
