Ida Allain 1930 - 2007 BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Ida Allain, age 76, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and formally of Saint- Joseph de Kent, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday July 18th, 2007 at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste. She was married to the late Joseph Allain (1980). Born in Bouctouche on November 1st, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and the late Régina (Née Bastarache) LeBlanc. Before her retirement she was employed with the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste as a patient caregiver. She belonged to the Cursillo, and a prayer group. Ida is survived by four daughters, Jeannita Gallant (Leonard) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Yvette Goguen (Fernand) of Saint-Antoine, Murielle Léger (Fernand), Mariette Cormier (Yvon) both of Bouctouche; five sons, Normand (Doris), Louis (Gilberte), Mario (Rachelle) all of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Patrick (Marie-Paul) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Marcel (Rosemonde) of Bouctouche Cove; four sisters, Délia Maillet (Léo-Paul), Laudia LeBlanc both of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Sr Geraldine LeBlanc ndsc of Pubnico, NS, Marie Allain of Saint- Joseph de Kent; two brothers, Noel of Bouctouche, Joseph (Irma) of Saint-Joseph de Kent; 34 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband; one daughter, Laura (1968); two sons, in infancy, Noel, Alfred; two sisters, Geneviève, baby Marie; five brothers, Léo, Ovila, Edouard, Maxime, and Gerard. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche, on Friday, July 20th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday from 8 to 8:45am. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 21st, 2007, at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
